Amesbury History Centre on BBC Wiltshire Radio Breakfast Show

We’re thrilled to share that Amesbury History Centre was the featured location on the BBC Wiltshire Radio Breakfast Show last week! It was an exciting opportunity to showcase the fascinating history and vibrant community spirit that makes Amesbury so unique.

During the broadcast, the BBC presenter explored some of the highlights of our exhibitions, including our stunning new life-size painting of an Aurochs and the captivating story of Amesbury’s connection to Stonehenge and its ancient past. The show also gave listeners a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the centre’s role as a hub for local history, education, and culture.

We’re incredibly proud to have been chosen as a spotlight location and to share our passion for preserving and celebrating Amesbury’s heritage with a broader audience. If you caught the show and want to see more, why not visit us in person? If you didn't catch it, listen to the video above. There’s always something new to discover at the Amesbury History Centre!

Stay tuned for more exciting updates, and thank you to BBC Wiltshire Radio for spotlighting our little piece of history.
